PETAL DROP
2 oz Bacardi Light Rum
2/3 oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz Rose simple syrup
2/3 oz Pasteurized egg white
Dash of Angostura Bitters
Shake all ingredients over ice, strain back into shaker and give it a dry shake. Double strain into a coupe glass.
For Rose syrup - heat equal parts rose water (buy it at your local specialty food store) and sugar. Let cool before use and store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
